Lilian Bonareri Maisiba is a Resource Mobilization and Corporate communication expert with a proven track record in print and digital communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, resource mobilization, taking on new initiatives, and leading teams. She is passionate about community empowerment with a particular bias toward women empowerment.
She is awaiting the conferment of her MA. Communication and Media Studies holds a BSc. Information Sciences and a Diploma in Digital Marketing. She is also a trained Strategic and Transformative leader, trained Senior Manager, certified professional mediator, and beginner data analyst.
Currently, she serves as the Head of Corporate Communication and Resource Mobilization in Kisii Municipality. She is also a Governing Council member at Mukurwe-in Technical Training Institute, a Board Member at Amani Hospital, a Founder member and Vice Chair of The Alliance for Youth and Teens International, the Western Kenya Regional Coordinator of the Young Turks Alliance, and a member of the Roundtable Wellness Club.
She is a seasoned communication strategist, resource mobilizer, writer, blogger, and Social Media Enthusiast, using her writing skills to champion mental health awareness and financial independence among women.
Lilian is a transformative leader, good governance and leadership champion, and a changemaker.
She is the Founder and Chair of Kuza Mama SACCO, a “By Women for Women” Society that extends credit to smallholder farmers and traders at an affordable rate, cushioning them from exploitation.
Lilian is a Presidential Awardee of the Head of State Commendation for her outstanding contribution to women empowerment and community service and an IChange Nations Youth Add Value Awardee.
